Food
Artocarpus camansi: seeds and young fruit
Literature synthesis
- A. camansi seeds are boiled or roasted, with a chestnut-like texture. The whole immature fruit can be sliced and cooked in soups or stews. At Odo, measure seed and flesh yields separately; figures for seedless breadfruit do not transfer. The first culinary preparations from this tree remain to be documented.
